About Me

Hi, I'm Simon, a registered MBACP psychodynamic therapist working with adults in private practice, having trained at The Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling in North London. I have worked for several years at a community counselling service, supporting adults facing a range of emotional, relational and life challenges.

During my career, I have worked in a variety of management, communication and consultancy roles. This experience has given me an understanding of today’s evolving working world and the challenges that work, career change or periods without work can bring to our personal lives.

At the heart of our work together is helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, with greater curiosity and compassion.

Working Together

Life can look one way on the outside while feeling quite different on the inside.

If this seems familiar, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect and begin to understand yourself more deeply.

You may have reached a point where exploring your emotional life, relationships, family experiences or work pressures is now important. You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed or disconnected, struggling with loss, trauma, experiences of difference or neurodiversity or low self-esteem.

Equally, you may just be curious to know yourself better and make sense of patterns that seem to repeat in your life.

I offer a confidential, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where we can explore whatever brings you to therapy. Central to my work is our therapeutic relationship, where you are listened to, understood and able to speak openly at your own pace.

My Approach

Psychodynamic therapy is based on the idea that our early experiences, relationships and ways of coping continue to influence how we think, feel and relate to others today.

By working together over time, it is often possible to understand ourselves differently, support greater emotional insight, relate to others more authentically and create meaningful change.

I work with adults on a weekly basis, offering both short and long term psychodynamic therapy, in person from consulting rooms in Mill Hill, West Hampstead, Islington and Waterloo or online.

I believe therapy offers a unique space to slow down, think together, and over time make sense of the experiences and relationships that have shaped who you are today.
